Company Collaborates with Renowned Research Institute on HVAC R & D

We are thrilled to announce a three-year strategic collaboration with the prestigious International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), a leading global research organization specializing in thermal engineering. The partnership, backed by a $5 million joint research fund, aims to address critical industry challenges through cutting-edge innovation.
The collaborative research agenda focuses on three key areas: developing next-generation low-global-warming-potential (GWP) refrigerants with enhanced thermodynamic properties, creating AI-driven predictive control systems that optimize HVAC performance based on occupancy patterns and weather forecasts, and designing novel air purification technologies targeting emerging indoor air pollutants.
A dedicated R&D lab will be established at our headquarters, equipped with advanced testing facilities including climate chambers (-30°C to 50°C) and refrigerant performance analyzers. IIR’s team of 12 scientists will work alongside our 18 in-house engineers, with quarterly progress reviews and annual technology symposiums to share findings. The first phase of research is set to deliver a prototype low-GWP refrigerant by Q2 2025, with commercialization targeted for late 2026.
